CABRERA JIU JITSU ACADEMY

Cabrera Jiujitsu was highly recommended to me by a coworker. I joined after my first visit. Even though I’ve been training various martial arts for decades, Cabrera Jiujitsu introduced me to a whole new world of learning. There’s world class instruction, great morale, a safe training environment and students of various levels and body types who all are willing help each other grow. It’s an honor to be a contributing member of this team/community.

I have trained under Professor Cesar Cabrera for many years now. With my job in Personal protection and my military Background I am very skeptical on Training. When I moved to the DC area I tried a few places and then I met Cesar. His Knowledge, method of teaching, professionalism, and skill set stood out head and shoulders above the others. I have really enjoyed training and sharpening my knowledge from the teachings of Cesar. I feel much more prepared and comfortable at work and in life. I would encourage everybody that is thinking of learning self defense visit Cesar. Your life will improve in many ways.

Joined this gym in November of 2021 a week after moving to Maryland from out of state. Cesar Cabrera welcomed me into his gym with open arms. This is a very welcoming environment and gym culture that Cesar has carefully curated at this jiu jitsu academy. Although I’ve only been training with the people of this gym for a couple of months, I can confidently say that I feel like family here. The class sizes are the right size to ensure you get the attention you need while learning new techniques. I did my research before settling on this gym. Cesar is a Renzo Gracie black belt. His technique is solid and his instruction is clear. I cannot recommend this gym enough! This is a hidden gem you do not want to overlook.
